The Simulaids® Adult ALS Full body trainer is designed to be used by Advanced Life Support students and practitioners for the purpose of learning, reviewing and demonstrating skill sets associated with ALS.
ALS Manikin | Full-Body ALS Trainer
The features of this ALS Full-Body Trainer allow for: airway maintenance with Endotracheal (ET) tubes, Oropharyngeal Airways (OPA), Nasopharyngeal Airways (NPA), Combitubes, and other adjuncts; IV catheterisations in the lower arm; ECG pattern recognition using the ; and CPR.
It is also suitable for practising defibrillation with full joule level discharge performed with patient care devices.
Anatomical landmarks include the sternum, rib cage, and substernal notch. The trainer contains teeth, uvula, vocal cords, glottis, epiglottis, larynx, arytenoids cartilage, trachea, oesophagus, and inflatable lungs and stomach.
